I'm starting to realize that I'm learning to play the guitar as an
instrument rather than just a device to accompany my singing. And when I think about that, I also become aware of how serious an endeavor this is. To learn to be a musician, someone who plays an instrument, is much different than strumming a guitar at a sing-along. So, it's no wonder it's so hard. And it's going to take a long time to really get to where I can
produce music on my guitar, my instrument.
It's an awesome, but exciting, prospect.
